This first part of the book discusses the comparative benefits of shares over other investments, how the sharemarket works, and how to set yourself up for share investment. Throughout the book, margin notes are provided to define common sharemarket terms used and to refer readers to further information. A glossary of sharemarket terms is also provided at the back of the book.
