In Chapter Three, the genetics and biochemical pathways involved in endotoxin biosynthesis are discussed in depth. In Chapter Four, endotoxin virulence is discussed, as well as the mechanisms of host-pathogen interactions. In Chapter Five, the use of endotoxins as vaccine adjuvants is discussed as a futuristic way to improve vaccine efficacy. At the end, Chapter Six discusses potential areas of endotoxin exposure in the environment, as well as measures to combat the ecological threat.
