Part 4 deals with more complex issues, and considers spheroidal reinforcements of undamaged composites, bridged cracks and stress-transfer mechanics associated with cross-ply and general symmetric laminates, including situations where shear or bend deformation is occurring. All formulae in the book are accompanied by computer programs available on a companion website.
