The main objective of this book is to show that not only can low-rank coal benefit agriculture, but by not using it in the power generation sector will result in the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. This book will introduce a novel concept on the use of low-rank coal in agriculture, rather than using it as a source of energy for power/electricity generation, but in the agricultural usage; thus positioning coal in the more green sector type of industry. This is a win-win scenario for both coal and agricultural sectors.
