This is a well-organized book filled with great teaching points. Like books in the Diagnostic Imaging series, the level of detail makes this an excellent reference. Readability is much improved by the organization of this book around clinical and imaging scenarios. The case-based presentations are simple and clinically relevant. The goal is to teach the reasoning behind expert interpretation of disease in the abdomen and pelvis, and the authors are more successful in achieving this aim than many of the other books I have read. Citations are current. The quality of the images is excellent, and often more than one modality is shown for a given disease. Finally, having the ebook available on the website means that this information is never far out of reach.
