The proposed will be very comprehensive, addressing most of the key legal concepts and issues that a construction professional is likely to encounter in the course of a typical construction project. The main topics will be issues related to the project participants and their contractual roles and responsibilities; issues related to the actual construction; and issues related to litigation. There is considerable overlap between these three topics, and even between the issues discussed in different chapters, but chaprters will be?arranged so that they correspond to the course of a construction project.?The 2007 version of the AIA documents, the ConsensusDOCs and the 2007 series of the EJCDC documents will be referenced throughout.?The book will not provide comprehensive citations to either case law or statutes, but will discuss the cases that have evolved into the various legal doctrines that are important to the construction industry.?This will be an RS Means co-branded title.
