Clearly this remains a very useful book for the podiatric profession, although it appears to be more widely used in the U.K. than the U.S. It has a place in both the preclinical and the clinical setting, for students, residents, and practitioners alike. However, the book also will to appeal to an even wider audience, both medical and paramedical. It should not be regarded as a replacement for more definitive anatomy books (such as Gray’s Anatomy: The Anatomical Basis of Clinical Practice, 40th edition, Standring (Elsevier, 2008)), even for those undertaking more focused clinical training. Overall, it is still highly recommended.
